Employment Advantage is an endorsed online program in Western Australia designed for students aged 13 to 18 to build job-readiness, resilience, and employability. Delivered through animated video lessons, quizzes, and a final exam, the course is also user friendly for disengaged learners and those with language or literacy challenges.

The program consists of five modules:

Module One: Optimism & Motivation

• Students explore their strengths, learn to stay motivated, and build resilience in the face of job search challenges.

Module Two: Personal Presentation

• Focuses on first impressions, grooming, hygiene, and understanding workplace and interview dress codes.

Module Three: Work Prospects

• Teaches job search methods and how to approach employers with confidence.

Module Four: Job Applications

• Covers resume writing, responding to selection criteria, and mastering behavioural interview questions.

Module Five: Work Ethic

• Builds workplace habits, motivation, and an understanding of employee responsibilities.

Students complete a real-world job application task and final exam. Though endorsed in WA, the program also aligns with the Australian Blueprint for Career Development, supporting career self-management, employability, and lifelong learning.
